​Journey with Gentle Giants is the only opportunity in the world where you are guaranteed to dive with whale sharks, manta rays and thousands of other fish. Suit up to SCUBA dive or even Snorkel in the pristine waters of the Ocean Voyager exhibit for a once in a lifetime experience.

LifeWaters with the Georgia Aquarium Veteran program are honored to provide this unique adjunctive therapy to complement current rehabilitation and reintegration programs.  Our Veterans challenge themselves with an experience outside their comfort zones, encounter enormous animals, and for some, relax and move in the water in ways they may not be able to on land.

Important Program Information

Proof of  Open Water SCUBA certification from a recognized organization is required

All equipment is provided by the Georgia Aquarium.  You can bring your own dive mask and wrist computer 

All abilities can participate in this program. Dive Buddies will be provided above and below the water
